Blewett School of Law Recognized for Excellence in Environmental Law
An attorney in Montana with more than 20 years of experience, Elizabeth Kaleva serves as outside counsel for school districts and government agencies. Elizabeth Kaleva holds a juris doctor from the Alexander Blewett III School of Law at the University of Montana, which has been recognized by preLaw magazine for its excellence in environmental law.
National Jurist's preLaw magazine has named the Blewett School of Law a Top School for Environmental Law, giving it a grade of A. In addition to offering joint degrees in collaboration with the University of Montana’s departments of Environmental Studies and Forestry and Conservation, the school offers certificates in Natural Resources Conflict Resolution and Natural Resources Law.
Further, the school publishes the Public Land and Resources Law Review. With both professional and student articles, the publication stands out as the only journal for public land issues in the country. The journal serves as a tool to encourage individuals with an interest in public land and resource law, Indian law, and environmental law to publish their scholarly work on these topics.
